Clear yellow-brown to red-brown liquid with a characteristic propolis smell. Sediment may form in the bottle. Ingredients: Imidazolidin Urea, aprylic/Capric Trigliceride, Propolis Extract. Properties: a natural product based on bee propolis, combining wax, resins, essential oils and compounds such as flavonoids and cinnamic- and benzoic-acid salts. Provides antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties. Used in pedicure and problem-foot care, as part of ingrown-nail management, nail-fold packing and treatment of inflamed sidewalls, as an antiseptic and healing product. Softens thickened skin and provides protection and care. Uses: skin care; softening keratinization; securing and preserving nail packing; protecting minor abrasions; acne care; herpes; wart management. Directions and dosage: place a lotion-soaked packing in the nail fold. Preferably leave for several hours or until the next day before rinsing the wound. The solution is not water-soluble, does not penetrate deeper skin layers and forms a protective film on thickened skin. It softens excess keratinization for easier removal. Dry matter in the solution maintains skin elasticity. Propo-cal is for local use only as applications, rinses, washes or inhalations. Superficial skin injuries: apply undiluted with a pad 2–3 times daily for up to 10–14 days. For pharyngitis and tonsillitis: apply to pharyngeal mucosa and tonsils 2–3 times daily for 8–15 days. For chronic tonsillitis: mix Propo-cal with water at 1:20 for inhalation; perform 1–2 inhalations daily for 7–10 days. Mouth rinsing for superficial mucosal damage: dilute 15 ml (1 tablespoon) in 100 ml (half a glass) of warm boiled water. Rinse 4–5 times daily for 3–4 days. Contraindication: allergic reactions, particularly to bee products. Incorrect use may cause severe burning, dry mouth, upper abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting.
