With dual forms, the material is placed inside a plastic form, which is turned over and applied material-side down onto the nail. The main advantage is that the artificial nail surface does not need filing. Directions: 1. Carry out standard nail preparation. 2. Select the appropriate form size for each nail. 3. Using a brush-spatula, place the required amount of sculpting material into the form and spread it over the surface. 4. Place the form containing the material onto the nail plate, 1–1,5 mm from the cuticle, and press with moderate, even pressure. 5. When using acrygel or polygel, cure according to the material’s instructions. Acrylic systems cure in air. 6. Remove the form by holding its free edge and turning it sideways. 7. File the material near the cuticle and the free edge to the desired shape. 8. After the extension procedure, carry out standard disinfection of the dual forms and dry them.
